With over 1.6 million YouTube subscribers, Guitar Zero 2 Hero has inspired aspiring musicians worldwide through accessible song and technique tutorials. GZ2H bridges the gap between free resources and premium learning opportunities, offering a dynamic platform where users can elevate their guitar skills with structured lessons and courses.
Building a custom LMS for global learning
We partnered with Guitar Zero 2 Hero to create a custom web application that redefined their digital learning experience. Central to this project was a fully bespoke Learning Management System (LMS) designed to deliver premium courses. Users could take quizzes to validate their learnings, engage in discussions within lessons, and track their progress seamlessly. Beyond learner-facing features, we developed an intuitive administrative interface to empower GZ2H’s team to manage courses, subscriptions, and community interactions effortlessly. By introducing a high-performance headless stack, the platform delivered unparalleled speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless experience for GZ2H’s global user base.
Executing a seamless user migration from Kajabi
One of the most critical aspects of this project was migrating thousands of existing subscribers from Kajabi to the new platform without service interruptions. We retained all active subscriptions within Stripe, automating user account creation and designing a robust migration strategy to mitigate risks. Upon launch, every user received a personalised welcome email, granting them immediate access to the new LMS. This meticulous planning ensured zero downtime or disruptions, reflecting the precision and care required for such a high-stakes transition.
